What do you like?
RevEHR is a web-based system so you do not have to maintain computers, servers or hire an IT guy or have one on call. Updates and product features are constantly being updated and they capture user requests and try to adapt them as quick as possible. The founder is an OD so he understands the enduser needs. The customer support is outstanding and virtually instantaneous. They have wonderful webinars, facebook groups and written instructions that allowed us to attest for MU in 2011. I can't say enough good things about them. Because every time I've had a "complaint" they have addressed it immediately and most of the time it's a "I wish the software did..." and next thing I know it's in the new release.
The schedular is easily adaptable, the exams are customizable, the optical ordering is easy and integrates nicely with Vision Web. e-prescribing takes seconds with a connection to RxNT.
Best of all I can use any computer I want. I use Mac, Ubuntu, and if I have to Windows. I've even logged in from my phone before.

What needs work?
The accounting, although adequate, could do better on the reports for looking at practice management statistics. I take comfort in knowing that this is a captured request and they are working on improvements, and have added features since I joined the team 3 years ago.

Easy to Maintain and Use!
I would highly recommend this complete package optometric practice software. I have been able to receive very prompt answers to any questions or problems that arise. The CEO and staff have a high level of commitment to staying up to date with necessary changes- and are continually making updates and adapting to the needs of the customers.

What do you like?
I love the accessibility RevEHR provides by being web-based. We are easily able to access data through various locations with the ease of the internet. Learning to navigate through the system is very intuitive and easy to learn.
What needs work?
Flipping through pages can sometimes be slow depending on our internet connection and computer speed. We look forward to integrating the schedule module to allow patients to book appointments online.

What do you like?
Very easy to use, great customer service, always adding new features without any work on my end. Able to talk with the CEO anytime by email or cell. They take your suggestions into consideration when doing updates.
What needs work?
Px portal, customization of what goes in the drop downs, integration with dx testing.

Awesome system
The fact that the CEO of the company is an optometrist, allows for feedback to be better understood.
Would recommend this system to anyone interested in implementing electronic records system.

*Inter connectivity with E-Rx, Gateway EDI, VisionWeb are seamless.
*No server based issues. I use Mac OS X (mostly) / Ubuntu and 1 or 2 machines have Windows. Since this is browser based, it makes no difference.
*Easy to manage Frame inventory as it has a nice 'drag & drop' feature from Frames Data.
*Inter connectivity with E-Rx, Gateway EDI, VisionWeb are seamless.
*No server based issues. I use Mac OS X (mostly) / Ubuntu and 1 or 2 machines have Windows. Since this is browser based, it makes no difference.

What needs work?
Cannot enlarge font(s) - so although the interface is pleasant, its tough on Presbyopes.
Needs a better built in spell checker.

It is low maintenance. I never have to worry about anything other than the computer turning on and having an internet connection! ZERO headaches :)
What needs work?
I'm thrilled with everything. The added features are just a bonus at this point.
