Look elsewhere for an EHR solution!
Horrible support. The software is very buggy, and it takes months to get anything fixed. Since we have had the software, we have lost prescription ability twice. We have lost our lab interface twice.
I opened a case about our lab results in June of 2011, and the case is still not resolved.
I dread calling support because the support staff has evidently not been properly trained, as they are not familiar with basic medical office terminology, nor are they at all familiar with a lot of terms relating to the EHR software.
I have to call constantly to check on support cases, because I am never updated. When I do receive a call-back, it is normally outside of work hours. Also, nearly every time I open a case, several days later I'll get an e-mail back from the support team wanting the exact same information that I gave when I called in in the first place.
The hold times for support usually top twenty minutes, and then when you finally get someone, they tell you that you have to talk to the person who is working on your case and transfer you to their voice mail. These voice mails are never returned.
It seems that there is a complete breakdown in communication between departments. Management could care less about your business and refuse to return calls or emails as well.
If not for the fact that it would waste so much time and energy to migrate my information to a different EHR provider, I would have terminted my relationship with AdvancedMD months ago.
Bottom line is, the system works halfway decently, but if anything goes wrong, good luck getting it fixed.
Do not waste your time or money on this system!

I LOVE IT
AdvancedEMR seriously makes life so much easier for me. The upgrade we made a couple months ago has allowed us to not dread going through the database. It is so easy to use. I love it.
