What do you like?
I first came across drchrono approx 1 year ago and reviewed the demo. At the time I was using another local network EHR system. This became impractical as I started to work in more than one clinic. I then revisited the drchrono site 2 weeks ago and found that the drchrono EHR system had been updated considerably. I subscribed to their webcast and found the drchrono demonstration to be interesting and informative. I contacted their support team who answered any questions I had in a timely manner. So I decided to investigate the implementation of drchrono into my daily clinic routine. drchrono is made up of the web based service and an iPad solution. The iPad installation was seamless, downloading the app from the iTunes app store. The shared templates from their forums site enabled me to get my specific templates up and running very quickly. Using drchrono on the iPad is so intuitive. Other EHR programs have to use a remote access program to log in to the computer running the local or web based EHR system. drchrono runs natively on the iPad which make for quick and ease of use in the clinical setting. The clinical information entered through the drchrono iPad app is then instantly updated on the web based service. I am looking forward to future updates to this exciting EHR product.
