Backup Services Review

Price Paid 20% Off
Pros Automatic. Unattended.
Cons Doesn't back up certain directories without manual override. Occasionally the Carbonite Service will eat up resources. If you pause it, it'll come back fine.

Hardware Review

Price Paid 329
Length of Ownership 6-8mos
Would buy again? No
Pros The hardware is great, consistent, reliable. Lots of driver choices. Small footprint.
Cons The software the comes with it is second-rate at best. Duplex requires their software. If you scan to pdf, it saves as both jpg and pdf, so you have to clean it up later.

This is our primary scanner. We've scanned several thousand charts on this and it hasn't blinked.

EHR Review

Experience 1 - 3 Years
Professional Setting Optometry
Owner or User? I bought and use(d) this product
Your Status Doctor
Disclosure I do have an affiliation with an EHR company
Explain disclosure (only if needed) MVE user and ECPManager partner
What do you like? Good licensing, nice staff. 6mo updates are sufficient
What needs work? Serious setup can take days. V8.0 fixed many of the issues and features the userbase asked for 1-2yrs ago. Reporting and datamining leave practice management challenging, mainly because of database structure.
